Please feel free to fill out the registration paperwork below if you are a new client. However, even with completed paperwork, you will still need to contact us to discuss your pet care needs.
All appointments are scheduled with Megan via phone call or text message. Thank you!
Please reach out if you have any additional questions.
All dogs need their Rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, and Bordetella vaccine up to date in order to stay with us. We do accept titers as proof of vaccination. Since we keep such a small number of dogs at a time, and most of our boarders only stay with us, we currently do not require additional vaccinations beyond core vaccines.
Puppies that have not finished their vaccination series ARE permitted to stay. We do require proof of the start of their series of vaccines and proof of deworming.
Please pack your dog's food and food bowl - we feed your pet's regular diet to prevent an upset stomach and some pets will not eat from new or different bowls, especially when stressed. Next, pack your dog's collar, harness (if you have one), and leash. Lastly, pack any special treats (this is a MUST if your pet has dietary restrictions), toys, and comfort items that you feel they may like to have. We do our best to return all items at the end of your dog's stay but please remember that your dog's items may be used/played with by other dogs.
We offer meet'n'greets if you feel your pup would benefit from coming to meet Megan and seeing the house prior to booking an initial daycare session or overnight stay. We offer two complimentary meet'n'greets to accommodate our more nervous guests. If additional visits are needed, they can be scheduled for $15. During these visits, Megan spends time with your pup (with or without you, depending) to help establish a relationship and build confidence.
We love updates! We will text updates as often at pet parents like them. You really can't bother us "too much". However, most of our time and focus is spent with the dogs, so please be understanding when messages are not answered immediately. We keep cell phones away (except for pictures and videos) when the dogs are out playing.
We also try to update our Facebook and Instagram page with pictures and videos of what the pups are up to. Pet parents can always check to see if their kiddo is featured.
With 14 years of veterinary medicine experience, Megan can help with just about anything you could need. Megan can apply eye and ear medications, administer subcutaneous fluids, change bandages, administer oral medications and more. Boarding is also offered for post operative and non-contagious illness care so that pet parents can be assured their pet is closely monitored and treated without having to stay in a hospital.
This depends on your dog! Some dogs prefer to sleep "loose" so they sleep in our playroom which is a living room area with a large sofa and several dog beds on the floor. Others sleep in playpens with comfy beds and blankets (when appropriate). And when a pet parents tells us their dog does best in a crate, we will get one out so that they can sleep like at home.
We try to keep drop offs and pick ups short and sweet. Dropping off your pup at boarding is like dropping off your kid at preschool. Some dogs get upset, some start playing right away, some wander off into the yard oblivious... regardless, it often makes us, as pet parents, feel bad. But it is important not to let our dogs feel this energy.
At drop off, plan to only spend about 3 to 5 minutes total. When you arrive at the house, you'll pull down to the backyard and I'll come out to meet you. We will unload all necessities and get your pup into the yard. At that time, they can head off leash to explore while you and I discuss any last minute details. After that its time for good-byes. At that time, I'll stay out in the yard with new boarders to give them a chance to get to know me before doing introductions.
Pick ups work similarly. Expect to only spend a few minutes picking up. I will have your pup's things packed and ready to go before your arrival. During pick up, pups are excited to see you and can display signs of stress (shaking, panting, barking, whining). This is normal but in order to minimize it, pick ups are kept to just payment and quick questions. If you have more in depth questions about your pet's stay or need to have a longer conversation with Megan, please let her know and this can be scheduled.
We do not allow pet parents into our dog areas. There are several reasons for this - number one being comfort. Having a new person walk inside can be very scary to the other dogs who are here. We are highly focused on keeping our environment as calm as possible. When a new person comes inside, it can be very upsetting to all of the dogs. Because of this, we strictly limit who is allowed in with the dogs. Our second main reason is safety. Having multiple people coming in and out of our dog area can be dangerous (especially when there are "escape artists" staying here). However, we are happy to provide pictures of where your pet will be staying.
Nutraceuticals, in this case, are a supplement designed to help calm your pet. They are non-pharmaceutical and a good first step at easing your pet's anxiety when they are staying with us. The most common ones that we utilize here are Composure Pro and Zylkene. Both are safe, have few side effects, and are recommended by the veterinary behaviorist here in Nashville.
If you have a dog that you are concerned may be anxious when boarding, you can begin these supplements a week before their drop off date. You can also safely give them at double the label dose for better effect.

We try to keep our pricing as upfront and all inclusive as possible. We never charge for your pups play time or outings to our farm, kongs, licki mats, snuffle items, food dispensing toys, or chews. However, if we need to provide food for your pup during their stay, it is a charge of $5 per meal.
